A porch drop is a seasonal styling service where we design and install a curated porch display for you. Customized to fit your space, setups may include items like planters, lanterns, baskets and enhancements such as wreaths or other door decor. Seasonal displays may include flowers, topiaries, pumpkins, cornstalks, wreaths, greens, and other natural elements.

Can I use my own decor?

Absolutely - In fact we encourage it! We love incorporating your treasures. Our goal is to make your space feel like a soul-filled sanctuary, and your favorite pieces help achieve that.

Do I need to be home for the setup?

Not necessarily! For exterior porch decor, we can often complete the installation while you are out, greeting you with a beautiful transformation when you return.

Do you design for businesses?

Yes! We love styling storefronts, office entryways, and small business exteriors. Seasonal curb appeal creates a welcoming first impression for your customers and sets the tone before they even walk through the door.

What if I have no vision for my porch?

Many of our clients want their space to feel warm and inviting but aren’t sure how to achieve that look. In these cases, we take the lead — evaluating your entryway and personal style to create a design that feels intentional and refined. Our role is to make the process effortless for you. You simply share your preferences and trust the process, while we do all the work.

How much does this service cost?

Because each design is unique, pricing varies based on the size of your space, seasonal materials, and level of customization involved. Porch styling services begin at $125, with final investment determined by the scope and design details of your specific project.

We offer a complimentary initial consultation, which typically includes reviewing photos of your space and discussing your goals, preferences, and seasonal vision. Following that conversation, you will receive a personalized quote outlining exactly what is included.

Do you remove decor at the end of the season?

Upon request, we provide professional removal of all décor at the close of the season. As New England shifts into its next season, we invite you to continue the experience with a thoughtfully curated refresh — keeping your home welcoming and beautifully styled throughout the year.

Sourcing & Products

How do you source decor for my project?

We source from a mix of local artisans, sustainable wholesalers as well as foraging in permissible outdoor spaces. We proudly source flowers and plants, pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, hay bales, greens, and more from local farms throughout Central MA whenever possible. Supporting our local agricultural community is significant part of our mission.

When local sourcing isn’t available, we prioritize small businesses and USA-made products. This includes carefully vetted Amazon affiliate items that reflect our commitment to provide quality products to create a unique and deeply personal look for your sanctuary.

Can I purchase individual items from your designs?

Yes! We offer handcrafted wreaths and smaller decorative pieces throughout the year. Many of these pieces are available for purchase on an individual basis or as part of a porch drop. If you see something you like, let us know and we can create it for you!

Do you offer decor that can be borrowed or rented?

We have a collection of curated baskets, planters, lanterns, and other accent pieces available for seasonal rental as part of your porch design. Renting allows you to enjoy a beautifully styled space without the need to purchase, store, or maintain larger decorative items.

Do you use sustainable merchandise?

Natural, durable, and eco-friendly materials are a priority for us. We believe that true hospitality begins with respect for our surroundings, ensuring your home feels relevant and warm year-round.

Are the porch items weather-resistant?

Durability is key for a beautiful first impression. We select high-quality materials designed to withstand the elements while maintaining their elegance and grace through every season.

What happens to the materials at the end of the season?

Sustainability matters deeply to us. At the end of a season, enhancements such as lanterns and other items owned by A Welcome Home are picked up and carefully stored for future use. Many seasonal materials are returned to farms or composted responsibly: We believe in working with nature’s rhythm — not against it.

How do I book a design consultation?

Booking is simple:

Reach out via our contact form, email, social media or give us a call.
Share some photos of your space (if possible, as well as inspirational images and pictures of any decor you would like to include.)
We’ll discuss your vision and provide a custom proposal.
Once confirmed, we schedule your seasonal installation.

Seasonal spots are limited, so early booking is encouraged!

Do you offer décor for special events and celebrations?

Yes. In addition to seasonal porch styling, we offer custom décor for outdoor gatherings, milestone celebrations, and special occasions — including birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, holidays and other meaningful moments. Whether you are hosting an intimate gathering or celebrating a major milestone, we design thoughtful exterior displays that create a warm and memorable first impression for your guests.

Can I send a porch display as a gift?

Not sure what to give? Instead of sending flowers or another gift they don’t need, give something truly meaningful.
